The Basra University women’s team won the first place with a sweep in the Chess Championship for the Universities of Iraq, which was hosted by the University of Babylon for the period 16-20/1/2022.
The team led by coach Dr. Loay each of:

2- Student Amal Majed (Faculty of Medicine)
3- Student Heba Saeed (College of Arab Girls Education)
4- Student Benin Jalal (Faculty of Physical Education)
5- Student Zainab Hassan (Faculty of Chemical Engineering)
